Welcome new Virtual/Online students or those who are off to a slow start...

I sent this email today to students/parents of new students to AP World History: Modern (virtual/online) and those who haven't completed many assignments. I am posting it here as well with the hope that those who aren't reading their emails or have invalid email accounts might see it.

Some of you are receiving this email because you have missed several assignments and others because they have just been moved into AP World History Virtual/Online. 

If you are new, Welcome to AP World History. This is an email designed to get you caught up on what you have missed. 

My website: https://whapm.mrduez.com - check the website daily, notes/video lectures/agendas for the week/ and lots of communication is done through the website. It is the virtual classroom. 

SCHOOLOGY: Everything we do is through Schoology as far as turning in work and assignments. The DO NOW Questions are essentially check in questions for attendance and they need to be done by 3 pm each day to be counted as present that day.

You will need to look at the prompt below and then you can read two of the chapters to form your comparison.

This week's Agenda:
We won't be in School Wed/Thu... so what I have for Wednesday will be what we do on Friday and I'll push the quiz back until Wednesday next week. 

*4 - (On Schoology) Watch Andrew Marr's History of the World: Episode 1 & Complete the fill-in the blank questions - complete on Schoology.

On Schoology - use the link to log into the textbook: Strayer's Ways of the World by using the instructions provided there. 

Remember that you will need to log into Schoology and do the DO NOW Questions by 3 pm each day so that you will not be marked absent. This week since we do not have school on Wed/Thu attendance will not be taken.
